Satyanarayan Puja

MIM conducts Satyanarayan Puja every year on 3rd September in the revered memory of Dada Shri Hashmatrai Mansukhani. He is the one after whom our college is named.Dada was a great disciplinarian like his mother Amma and he greatly believed that India’s Salvation lay in education.

Sindhi Language Day Celebration

MIM celebrated Sindhi Language Day on 10th of April. On this day, Sindhi Section of MIM library was inaugurated by Mr. Kishu Mansukhani, Immediate Past President, HSNCB. The Sindhi section of MIM library has collection of 317 sindhi books and 11 CDs.

Cheti Chand and Gudi Padwa Celebration

As a management Institute it becomes important to bring cultural spirit in our students. Cheti Chand is marked as the 1st Day of Sindhi Calendar and Birthday of Lord Jhulelal. Hence this day was celebrated with Good enthusiasm. Baharana Sahib pooja was performed. Students celebrated this day by singing bhajans and dancing on sindhi songs.
 
Gudi Padwa is marked as the first day of New Year in Maharashtrian community. This day was celebrated was observed with colorful floor decorations called rangoli, a special Gudi flag (garlanded with flowers, mango and neem leaves, topped with upturned silver or copper vessel), Lezim dance and festive foods.

 

Freshers Party

MIM has organized freshers welcome party for the current batch. Senior students and new comers of the college mingled with each other at the freshers party held in MIM Auditorium. Freshers also showcased their talent and competed for Mr. and Ms. Freshers crown. The freshers couldn’t ask for better kick off ,which they will cherish for long.

Christmas Celebration

MIM celebrated Christmas to inculcate a sense of Unity in diversity among students.

National Youth Day

This day is marked as birthday of Swami Vivekananda. All activities related to youth like sports, yoga, meditation are conducted on this day. MIM celebrated this day by conducting indoor games like Carrom, Chess and Outdoor games like Badminton, Box Cricket. Rolling Trophies were given to winners and certificates to all the participants. Students celebrated this day with great enthusiasm.

MIM Rockers

This event provides a platform to our students to showcase their managerial and inter- personal skills. Various team management and team building games were conducted. Students participated in the event with great excitement.

Republic Day Celebration

To honor the setup of Constitution of India, MIM celebrated Republic day. Students were enlightened with the knowledge of formation of Indian constitution.

International Mother Language Day

To inculcate a sense of unity in diversity and pride, International Mother Language Day was celebrated. Students were dressed up as per their community and briefed about the various celebrations that take place within their community. This day was celebrated with great enthusiasm.

International Women’s Day

This year women’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Male students of FYMSS has dedicated a a rap performance to women. Later the students also prepared chaat like paani puri and sev puri for all the teaching, non teaching and female students. All the women staff and students  were obliged with this gesture of male students.

Rang Barse International Colours day

Colours create an impact on our mind, moods and senses. Keeping this in Mind International Colours day was celebrated. There was an interactive session on Effective use and impact of Colours in Marketing. Various charts, on meanings of different colours and how brands use these colours to attract customers in their logos, were displayed.

Independence Day

MIM celebrated Independence Day with a great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotic feeling. The staff and students of the institute sang National Anthem and patriotic songs to pay homage to the efforts of numerous freedom fighters of India.

Marathi Bhasha Diwas

MIM celebrated the ‘Marathi Bhasha Diwas’ on the occasion of the birth anniversary of noted Marathi litterateur V V Shirwadkar alias ‘Kusumagraj‘. FYMMS student Ms. Supriya Shinde gave a speech and shared some poems of Shree Kusumagraj.

MIM Swachhta Rally

MIM students have arranged a rally to support Swacch Bharat Abhiyan movement of India.

Tree Plantation at MIM

With a vow to save environment, MIM faculties and students planted saplings in the campus. The students showed great enthusiasm in planting saplings and  took the responsibility of awakening people by telling them the importance of trees in our lives.

Moment of Calm

Moment of calm was observed by the institute on 2nd August,2019. This day has special importance as it is marked as the birth Anniversary of Dada J.P. Vaswani. Dada believed that to stay healthy it is important that people relieve all the hatred and grudges from their minds. Hence, Moment of calm is the day of calmness, peace and forgiveness. Our Director, Teaching, Non teaching staff and students participated and observed this day to spread message of peace and forgiveness
